Maldives doesn't need pre visa, almost all nationalities will get a stamp entry on arrival, for free, valid for 30 days stay. 

 

Requirements:

1. Confirmed Return flight ticket

2. Confirmed hotel reservation

3. $150 per day.

About my case, they only asked for my hotel reservation, they didnt check how much i have money,  just they looked at my booking of accomodation without double checking.

I flew from colombo, spent almost a week in the maldives in jan 2019, enjoyed the pristine clear water!
